My professional experience

Internship in Health Psychology

I completed my internship at a clinical centre with a Jungian analytical orientation. I deepened my use of images and symbols in clinical practice.

Social prescribing health coaching

During my time in London, I worked in collaboration with general practitioners to provide psychological support to patients experiencing mental distress.

Community Psychiatry

In Marseille, I worked in a community psychiatry facility within the Just Association, supporting people during psychological crises often linked to trauma, grief, or addiction.
My interventions aimed to help individuals recognise and develop their personal strengths and potential throughout the recovery process.
I worked within a multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with psychiatrists, nurses, and educators across diverse clinical settings.

Research

My research has focused on exploring the relationship between bodily changes, psychosocial context, and the individual’s potential for transformation and growth.

Multicultural Perspective

Working in diverse sociocultural contexts has led me to pay particular attention to how origins, culture, and community shape the experience of well-being and psychological distress.

Vision of therapy

anna-cappellini-curriculum-terapia

Some life experiences—such as loss, separation, or illness—can create ruptures in our personal story. Authenticity within the therapeutic relationship opens the possibility for repair and transformation.
My approach is inspired by Positive Psychology and the theory of Post-Traumatic Growth, which explore how even moments of crisis can reveal unexpected inner strengths.
Through the therapeutic process, we can begin to recognise and make sense of the meanings behind emotional scars, integrating them into a renewed and empowering self-narrative.
This echoes the Japanese art of kintsugi, in which broken pottery is repaired with gold, transforming its fractures into marks of beauty and value.
